Jeffrey Rashad (he/him) is an actor, writer, and poet from Milwaukee, WI. He is a proud Alumni of Howard University where he earned a BFA. He has recently completed a Master's in Classical Acting from The Old Globe and the University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Acting Program. Jeffrey’s recent work has been heavily inspired by history and its profound effects, which continue to reverberate into the present. More specifically, he is currently interested in exploring not only major historical events but also the lives of the people who experienced them—zooming in at a micro level to examine the individual. His recent theater credits include A Christmas Carol in Harlem (Classical Theater of Harlem), Passover (Resident Ensemble Players), The Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, The Nineteenth, Trouble In Mind (The Old Globe). At the end of each day, Jeffrey finds solace in the company of his 12-year-old Schnauzer, Kingston, and a high-stakes soccer match. With Kingston by his side, Jeffrey aspires to become an artistic force, leaving his mark on the stage and through his words. By the way, he's a damn good cook as well!
